Founder Casa Guatemala, President - Elvis Jocol
Elvis Jocol is an experienced Marketing Professional with brand building and multicultural expertise as well as a proven record of translating consumer insights into actionable business solutions. He is currently Director of Digital Media at El Mundo Media where he is responsible for the development of all digital media platforms, promising to enhance El Mundo's reach and engagement with bilingual and bicultural Latinos. As an Account Executive, Elvis also advises clients on marketing campaigns and ad development in an effort to reach Greater Boston's burgeoning Latino population, a national top 25 Latino market.
Previously he served as a Market Research Project Manager at Boston based, custom market research firm Chadwick Martin Bailey serving some of the largest and most well known Financial Services and Health Services brands in the world. His experience includes Consumer Packaged Goods having served as a Manager in Consumer and Market Knowledge at Procter and Gamble under the Gillette Brand in South Boston, MA. There he led the brand's Hispanic and African American Consumer research.
He is also the Founder and President of Casa Guatemala, a cultural and educational non-profit organization serving the Latino community of Waltham, MA. In this role, he has developed various college access programs serving Latino middle and high school students, many of whom are aspiring to be first generation college graduates.
He has twice (2010 and 2011) been recognized for his service to the community by the Guatemalan Association of Massachusetts and received an official resolution from the office of Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino and Boston City Councilor Felix Arroyo. He currently attends Harvard University as a candidate for a professional certification in Strategic Management and is a 2009 graduate of the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management with concentrations in Finance and Marketing.
